Bee Keeping @ Raprager Farms
About The Class
Ever wonder what life is like inside a beehive? What does a queen bee do all day? How many bees live in a hive? What exactly is a pollinator, and why do they matter so much? Join me for a lively, interactive session all about the fascinating world of honey bees! Whether you’re curious, cautious, or already buzzing with excitement, you’ll get the chance to ask questions, see bees up close, and learn just how important these tiny creatures are to our world.
About The Teacher
John Morse has been a beekeeper for over 15 years and is a Certified Master Beekeeper through the University of Florida and a Certified Pollinator Steward with the Pollinator Partnership. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion.
- John absolutely love learning about bees and pollinators.
- John also really love sharing what he’s learned with others.
He doesn’t give formal lectures—think of it more as an enrichment experience. Each session is shaped by the audience’s questions and curiosity. No two visits are ever the same!
